1/3 full and the minute you click on a website, it shuts down. They show regular (free) wifi and “premium”. We are there and the campground is possibly 1/3 full. It’s truly an amazing area and campground. The people running it are about as friendly as a group can be. Pro’s: The view from this campsite is nothing less than stellar (pun intended). Lower your expectations if you expect courtesy with your $80 Water & elec. You’ll still need to drive to Devils Tower so plan to unhook your tow car. Devils Tower is beautiful when not obscured by fog and rain. The reason given for no early checkin was to give the staff opportunity to “clean” sites - trust me no one was cleaning the gravel, mud and overgrown grass of our site! Go for the view.

Now the not so good: gravel roads had more mud than gravel, sites are close together, overflowing dumpsters, no recycling, pricey campsites, pricey camp store - a 10 oz bag of caramel corn for $13, cowboy-hat wearing parker was most un-welcoming ( He should a job he loves!), first thing you’ll see is a sign that says $10+tax if you arrive before 1:00 (even when it’s pouring rain), $25+ tax if you check out after 11 ( even 5 min).
